Journal

The Society is responsible for the journal, Studies in Christian Ethics published quarterly by SAGE Publications. One issue each year publishes the main papers from the Society's annual conference. The journal has the largest circulation of any ethics journal outside of North America, and aims through its articles and book reviews to engender a style of conversation which is sympathetic, stimulating, challenging and informative.

"Studies in Christian Ethics remains an indispensable source for setting the agenda in Christian ethics. The articles invariably set the standard for work in the field." Stanley Hauerwas, Gilbert T. Rowe Professor of Theological Ethics, Duke Divinity School

"Studies in Christian Ethics is rapidly establishing itself as one of the leading journals in theological ethics. While continuing to offer first-rate work by British theologians and ethicists, it increasingly offers a forum for North American and Continental scholarship as well. It is beginning to attract international attention, and its influence coan nly increase in coming years." Jean Porter, Rev. John A. O'Brien Professor of Theology, University of Notre Dame

"Studies in Christian Ethics is one of the very few journals existing today that invites ethics to be investigated in an unashamedly theological manner, and theology in and unashamedly ethical manner. The first rate review section, second to none in its international and ecumenical width, is alone worth the money." Dr Bernd Wannenwetsch, Harris Manchester College, University of Oxford

"Studies in Christian Ethics is the major academic journal in Christian Ethics in Britain, and it is highly regarded in North America and Europe as well. It is an indispensable resource for anyone wishing to engage from a Christian angle with the complex and important ethical issues facing the world today." Duncan B. Forrester, University of Edinburgh
