2018 Postgraduate Conference: Life, Death, and Meaning
Prof. Michael Banner (Cambridge) will give a plenary address on ‘Children and Commodification’ in addition to a diverse selection of postgraduate papers surrounding our theme.
Dr. Brian Brock (Aberdeen) and other members of the faculty at University of Aberdeen will be in attendance to provide feedback on postgraduate papers in addition to the students in attendance.
Call for Papers
We’re seeking papers which address questions and issues related to the theme. In addition to the questions specified above, we would also welcome papers from a range of other topics including: ecological ethics, bioethics, socio-economic ethics, disability ethics, sexual ethics, political ethics, other contemporary issues, and interdisciplinary perspectives.

Event Details
The conference will run from 9am - 4pm on Tuesday 27 March. Lunch, coffee & refreshments are included with registration fee of £20.
Attendees also have the option to arrive early on Monday, 26 March to join the University of Aberdeen Theological Ethics Research Seminar where Michael Banner will be giving an additional paper, followed by discussion.
Registration will remain open until March 16th.
